Cake Flavours

Your mum always told you, “It’s what is in the inside that count” and boy was she right!

I believe the that the inside of your wedding cake is just ( if not more ) important then the outside. I also know that traditionally a wedding cake was made from grandmas best fruit cake recipe – i still use my nan’s recipe and I love a good fruit cake. However, if this is not you favourite cake – Then don’t have it. You can choose from an array of mouth watering, taste buds tingling, most delicious cakes ever !!

Whether you choose to have one, two or five different favours for your cake, the outside doesn’t have to reflect what is in the inside. You can stay safe with a decadence chocolate mudcake, or go more lighthearted with Funfetti – whatever you choose, your guests will be raving about it for years to come.

The Filling

All our cakes are cut and layered with either:

  • Ganache is a decadent mixture of pure cream and chocolate whipped it is rich and sinful.
  • Velvety Italian buttercream mixed with meringue for a lighter texture

We can also added, lemon, vanilla, chocolate, passionfruit, rose water Or liquor can make this even more sinfully delicious.

The Icing

We cover all our cakes in ganache and then a thin layer of sugar dough. It is not like “old school cakes” where the iced was thick and hard , it is as thin as i can get it without the cakes showing through. We do not use marzipan (unless you have specifically asked for it. )
You can choose a soft iced finish.
